Terms of use

1. Scope

These terms of use apply to the Tra-vel website and the functions offered on it.

These include travel information, user accounts, referral features, partnership applications, accommodation information and links to external providers.

2. Travel information

Tra-vel provides information about destinations, when to travel, attractions, transport, accommodation, local features and other travel-related subjects.

Although content is prepared with care, we cannot guarantee that all information is complete, up to date or free from errors at all times.

Visitors should also check current information from official sources or the relevant provider, particularly for entry requirements, safety, health information, prices, opening hours and conditions of carriage.

3. External providers and bookings

Tra-vel may link to external accommodation providers, booking platforms, travel providers or other third parties.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, a contract for an external travel service is made solely between the visitor and the relevant external provider.

The relevant provider is responsible for prices, availability, the scope of services, cancellation conditions and the delivery of external services.

4. User accounts

Some functions may require a user account. Users are responsible for keeping their login details confidential and for not misusing their accounts.

Using accounts under a false identity, bypassing technical safeguards or placing harmful automated load on the website is not permitted.

5. Referral programme

Registered users may receive personal referral links. These links allow visits, registrations and certain actions to be attributed to a referrer.

Having a referral link does not automatically create an entitlement to payment, commission or other compensation.

Compensation arises only where separate terms have been expressly agreed.

6. Partnership programme

Individuals and businesses may apply for a partnership with Tra-vel.

An application does not create an entitlement to join the partnership programme.

Tra-vel may review applications, request further information, and accept or reject applications.

Payments, lifetime attribution, commissions or special conditions apply only if expressly agreed with the relevant partner.

6a. Accommodation listings from hosts

Registered users may create draft accommodation listings and submit them for moderation. A listing is published only after a review by Tra-vel.

Hosts are responsible for the accuracy, currency and lawfulness of their information, images, prices, availability and contact details. They may upload only content for which they hold the necessary rights.

At this initial stage, Tra-vel is not a booking or payment platform. An enquiry through a form is not a confirmed booking. Contracts, payments, cancellations and the stay itself are agreed directly between the guest and host. Tra-vel may reject, block or remove listings.

Accommodation providers may also submit information and photos for manual review without registering. By submitting them, providers confirm that they are authorised to list the accommodation and hold the necessary rights to all uploaded content. A submission does not create an entitlement to publication.

7. Prohibited use

The following activities in particular are not permitted:

• Manipulating referral or tracking systems;
• Artificially generating clicks, registrations or actions;
• Spam or misleading promotion of Tra-vel;
• Attempts to access accounts or technical systems without authorisation;
• Abusive automated use of the website;
• Using the platform for unlawful content or activities.

8. Affiliate and partner links

Some external links may be affiliate or partner links. Further information is available in the affiliate disclosure.

9. Availability

Tra-vel aims to operate the website reliably. However, uninterrupted or completely error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.

Maintenance, technical problems or changes to external services may temporarily affect individual functions.

10. Intellectual property

Tra-vel’s own texts, design elements, data structures and other content may not be reproduced, published or reused commercially without the appropriate permission.

Third-party rights to images, trademarks, names or external content remain unaffected.

11. Changes

Tra-vel may adjust functions, content and these terms of use when its services, technical systems or legal requirements change.
